Snakes In The Trees

Prior to the entrance of Caffeinated Computer Consulting McKenzie Towne Church designated their IT needs to a fellow member of the congregation on a part-time volunteer basis. This was not an ideal situation for a growing church; therefore Caffeinated Computer Consulting was brought in to develop a plan of action for their current and future technology needs.

MTC’s primary issues consisted of:

• No documentation
• No reporting
• No monitoring

System downtime

This was a major worry for Krottner because he feared that the church wouldn’t be protected in the case of an emergency situation, or that it would jeopardize the church’s integrity.

“We have to make sure that we follow legislation, and spam laws. From a security perspective we need to report revenues in and out because in our field integrity is important. This information needs to be secure and protected.” Says Krottner.
